I didn’t arrive at this work through a straight line or a polished plan.
Blood & Honey was born through loss, identity shifts, grief, motherhood, burnout, and the quiet realization that I had spent years caring deeply for others while slowly disconnecting from myself.
I know what it feels like to lose pieces of who you are while still functioning, still showing up, still holding everything together. I also know how hard it can be to explain that feeling in words.
This work exists because I needed a different way back to myself. One that did not require fixing, pushing, or performing healing.
I am a therapeutic arts practitioner and creative guide. I support people moving through emotional transitions using creativity, mindfulness, and gentle structure.
My work is rooted in the belief that creativity is not about talent or output. It is a way of listening. It is a way of letting emotion move. It is a way of reconnecting to yourself when words fall short.
I do not believe healing needs to be loud, dramatic, or rushed. I believe it needs to be honest, supported, and sustainable.
The name Blood & Honey comes from my own healing.
The blood represents the hard things: grief, trauma, burnout, bullying, and identity loss. The seasons where life felt heavy, sharp, and overwhelming.
The honey represents what comes after: clarity, resilience, creativity, and the moments you finally feel yourself again.
Creativity became my bridge back to myself. Journaling, painting, and self-expression gave me language when words failed. I learned that resilience isn’t something you’re born with. It’s something you can build... slowly, gently, and honestly.
Now, I help others do the same… turning what feels heavy into something meaningful, steady, and new.

The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable, and it felt so good to be able to just open my heart and let the creativity pour out. Raelynn is a fantastic facilitator who allows you to be yourself and guides the session in a natural and easygoing way. I found myself looking forward to our workshop night each week and really ruminating on the affirmations I chose and why they were important to me. There was zero pressure to be perfect and we were able to share lots of stories and laughs along the way. I would definitely recommend any of Raelynn’s workshops and can’t wait to see what she has planned in the future!
that made me feel completely at ease. I loved the variety of materials she provided during the sessions—it gave me the freedom to explore in ways that felt right for me. She’s also so easy to work with for 1:1 bookings and genuinely cares about making sure you’re happy with the activity and experience.

and because I’ve always loved creative outlets. I didn’t know what to expect and felt awkward at first, but once I picked up the hammer and smashed that first block, something opened up. The note inside hit me hard and brought out emotions I didn’t realize I was holding. Afterward, I felt more relaxed, more at peace. I didn’t feel any judgment, except from myself, and the process reminded me how important creative spaces like this are. I learned that I need more of them, more ways to let things go through art. The space felt grounded and soft, and Raelynn guided just enough while letting us find our own way.

but also at how overwhelming the world feels. Ripping up negative thoughts, punching clay, and turning all of it into something beautiful was exactly what I needed. I hadn’t realized how much tension I was holding until I started to breathe again. The experience was deeply cathartic; for a moment, all the noise in my head was quiet. I left lighter and more patient with myself, with this realization that it’s okay to be angry and that I don’t always have to be the calm one. The space was free, grounded, and understanding, and I loved how unstructured it was; we were able to just let us do what felt right for ourselves.

I arrived with this constant low simmering rage, part of it personal, part of it just the world. I was fired up, ready to release it. Punching my wet canvas full of the things that make me angry was incredibly satisfying; I could feel myself getting calmer with every rip, punch, and squish. By the end, I felt completely free. I felt like I’d met my true self again. The whole atmosphere was grounded and safe, yet cathartic and freeing at the same time. It reminded me I need to make space for all my emotions, not just the ones that feel comfortable. It was such a good, safe way to break something and let it all out.

My mom surprised me with the workshop, and at first I didn’t know what to do. But once I understood, I got excited to express myself. Smashing the brick and punching the clay helped me let out so much. I felt different afterward, lighter, more like myself. It was fun and freeing, and I felt like I could be fully me without judgment. The space was grounded, alive, and safe, and Raelynn’s energy made it easy to relax. It honestly felt perfect.
If you are feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or unsure of what you are carrying, you are welcome here.
You do not need to have the right words.
You do not need to know what comes next.
You only need a willingness to pause and check in with yourself.
Blood & Honey exists to support that pause.
No. My work is not therapy, and it does not replace mental health care.
I use therapeutic arts and creative practices to support reflection, emotional processing, and self connection. This work is practical, grounding, and supportive, especially during times of transition.
If you are currently working with a therapist, many people find this work complements that support well.
Not at all.
This work is not about skill, talent, or making something beautiful. It is about expression, awareness, and meeting yourself where you are. Stick figures, scribbles, words, collage, and quiet reflection are all welcome here.
This work is for people who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of what comes next.
Many of my clients are navigating grief, burnout, identity shifts, or big life changes. Others simply feel stretched thin and want a gentler way to reconnect with themselves.
Each session or workshop includes grounding, creative exploration, and reflection.
You will be guided through simple, accessible practices at your own pace. There is always choice, flexibility, and permission to participate in the way that feels safest for you.
You will never be pressured to share more than you want to.
Yes.
I offer both in person and online sessions, depending on the service. Online work is just as gentle, grounded, and supportive, and many people appreciate being able to engage from their own space.
If you are not sure where to begin, start small.
Free resources are a great entry point. From there, you can explore guided experiences, workshops, or one on one support when it feels right.

Strong emotions can surface during creative and reflective work, and that is okay.
I design everything I offer to be trauma aware, choice based, and paced gently. You are always encouraged to slow down, pause, or step back when needed. You are never required to share, explain, or push through anything that feels like too much.
That said, this work is not crisis support. If you are experiencing severe distress or feel unsafe, it is important to reach out to a mental health professional or a trusted support system right away.
My role is to guide and support, not to diagnose, treat, or replace professional care.
